Zla Kolata: good to know

• The classic route starts in Vusanje and climbs past Zarunica towards the summit.
• The summit is usually given as 2,534 m, although some sources say 2,528 m.
• Expect about 1,450 m of climbing and a long day. There is little or no water on the way up.
• The summit ridge is the state border. Do not continue into Albania without the cross-border permit.
