Maja Jezerce: good to know

• The approach from Montenegro starts in Vusanje and follows the Ropojana valley towards the border.
• The track into Ropojana is partly rough. We drive as far as the road allows.
• Many hikers do it in two days with a night near the Jezerce lakes.
• The summit is in Albania. You need the cross-border permit: check the current rules with the police in Gusinje or Plav before you go.
