Karanfili: good to know

• The usual loop starts in Grebaje Valley, about 7 km from Gusinje.
• It climbs through forest to Volušnica, the first viewpoint over Karanfili, then follows the ridge to Talijanka and Popadija.
• Plan about 5.5–6 hours of walking and roughly 900 m of climbing.
• Early summer is the best time for green meadows and wildflowers.
